TowPlus
is capable of securely sharing filter and cigarette designs. The filter and
cigarette designs are stored in a secured location, accessible only to the owner.
However the owner can opt to share the design to another TowPlus® user in the
company or out of the company, a very convenient tool to request support to
Celanese Technical Service. The only way to receive this shared design is
through the TowPlus® application and therefore by being an authorized TowPlus® user.
After
saving a filter and/or cigarette brand, it can be shared by clicking Share Filter Cigarette located in the Tools drop down menu. By clicking in Share Filter Cigarette the sharing
window opens. Then a design can be shared by clicking on the respective field
and selecting from the drop down menu the design to be shared.
When
an filter, cigarette, or combined filter/cigarette design is shared, the associated
designs are shared too.
After
sharing, the shared design will show up on the receiving user’s TowPlus® in the
drop down menus of the Filter &
Cigarette Design sections. The name of the shared design will show up with the
name of the sharing user attached to it.
The shared design can then be viewed or modified/saved by the new user, but the original version from the owner remains untouched since the sharing action only shares a copy of the design to the destination user.
